MONOGRAM Hospitality Interiors at BBGM was selected as the Interior Designer for several renovation efforts at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, located in Carlsbad, California. The project is being performed in multiple phases, with the initial efforts entailing a renovation of all Private Villas. With a total room count of more than 600 keys, the Private Villas reside in four separate buildings, comprising 176 keys, with a room mix that includes Parlor Villas, Studios, King and Queen/Queen Villas, and Jr. Suite Villas. MONOGRAM also provided survey & record services for the Villas refresh.
Phase I of the public area renovations is planned to include a ballroom expansion, which includes the addition of a new ballroom, meeting room and associated pre-function, circulation and public restrooms. The existing ballroom will also receive a refresh with all new carpeting and event lawn furnishings.
Phase II is planned to include a new Member’s Clubhouse, comprised of a lobby reception area, 3-meal restaurant & bar, exterior and private dining areas, pro shop, conference center with terrace, and pool area. The pool area will undergo a reconcept exercise, providing a Splashtopia bar concept for adults, and Kidtopia concept for the children’s area. A refresh of the fitness center and locker facilities is also included.
