Galapagos Eco Lodge Resort

Hospitality | Architecture | Master Planning

BBGM is in the preliminary stages of design and conceptualization for an eco-friendly resort and lodge consisting of bayside bungalows and clustered structures to accomodate varying public spaces. This resort is the first of its type in the islands.

The resort will be comprised of guest bungalows along the hillside of the bay, with additional groupings of larger buildings to include: a destination restaurant, bar, library, a spa, pool, and a scuba shop. Furture development plans include a marina and residential units.

With an environmentally conscientious intent, the resort is designed to be self-sustaining; addressing local water contraints by capturing rain water for use throughout the site. Additional measures include the use of indegenous materials and labor. The overall design intent is to minimize the resort’s impact on the land and its native animals.
