The Virginia Beach Hyatt Place hotel is planned to be a 19 story oceanfront hotel with all 172 rooms having ocean views. The ground floor has an indoor pool, fitness room, oceanfront lobby lounge, dining area, bar and beach-front terrace.
The second floor has 8,000 square feet of meeting spaces including a 4,000 square feet ballroom. This hotel, along with its neighbor across 27th street, the Hyatt House, form a public plaza between Atlantic Avenue and the Virginia Beach boardwalk.
